How to: manage passwords inside the Vault

Welcome back to our "How To" series, where we provide guidelines on some of the key features of our ShareRing App. In this guide, we will show you how to add and manage your passwords within the vault. Please note that this feature is currently in BETA.

In 2007, a study conducted by Microsoft revealed that the average user maintained 6.5 passwords across approximately 25 accounts. Fast forward to 2022, and the landscape has drastically changed, with users now having to remember an average of 70 to 80 passwords. It is essential for everyone to have a secure yet accessible method to store and manage their passwords.

ShareRing Vault allows users to store and manage passwords within the app, while maintaining full control over their information. Rest assured that none of the user information will be stored on-chain. Please follow the steps below to learn how to manage your passwords.
